Big Sky Bike Park Celebration

venue: Big Sky Park and Sports Complex 21690 Neff Rd
Bend’s new bike destination is Big Sky Bike Park. Created by Bend Park and Recreation District with community partners, it has elements for riders from beginner to professional. Bike Park features include a pump track, learning area, trials area, skills course and singletrack trails.
BPRD will celebrate the bike park opening on Friday, June 9 from 4-7 pm. The celebration event is free and will focus on drop-in activities for all ages and for those with wheels and without.
BPRD has invited partners to join the fun, including:
• Central Oregon Trails Association
• MBSEF
• The Center Foundation
• Oregon Adaptive Sports
• Bend BMX
• Ladies All Ride/Girls All Ride
BPRD will have light refreshments available and have a schedule of events that includes:
• Demonstrations of bike park amenities
• Tours every 30 minutes
• Partner-led activities for individuals and families
The bike park was made possible with help from a grant through the Bend Sustainability Fund.
