Learn how to create a one-of-a-kind block print. In this class, we use a reduction printing technique to produce multilayered and multicolored prints. Each layer builds on the last as we cut off the linoleum block to reveal the next color in our compositions. When done, the only thing left on our blocks will be the lines and shapes of the darkest color and we will have created unique prints that can never be reproduced. Instructor: Anastasia Zielinski.

To draw manga or illustrations in a manga style, we will practice sketching facial features, clothing styles, and other elements common to manga. Learn how to create a one-of-a-kind block print. In this class, we use a reduction printing technique to produce multilayered and multicolored prints. Each layer builds on the last as we cut off the linoleum block to reveal the next color in our compositions. Each layer builds on the last as we cut off the linoleum block to reveal the next color in our compositions.
