BPRD is piloting a new installment payment option for select full-day summer camps in 2025, allowing households to pay registration fees in four equal payments instead of one lump sum. The eligible summer camp programs include:

  • Operation Recreation
  • The PAC
  • Riley Ranch Nature Camp
  • Cougar Camp
  • Adventure Camp

To participate, camp enrollees must register during March 17 – 31, 2025 and pay 25% of the registration fee upfront. That payment will then be followed by three automatic 25% fee installments on April 1, May 1 and June 1.

Please note: If available, the extended care option at any above camp requires full payment at time of registration.

The plan is easy to use: When you add the camp registration to your cart, you can select the installment payment option using a new credit/debit card or previously used card. While this pilot program is currently limited to specific full-day camps in 2025 with the above fixed payment dates, BPRD is exploring more flexible payment structures for the future.

Payment Schedule

  • 25% due at time of registration during March 17 – 31.
  • 25% automatically charged on April 1.
  • 25% automatically charged on May 1.
  • 25% automatically charged on June 1.

All installment percentages are based on the participant’s post-scholarship balance at registration, meaning the discounted rate applies to all future payments even if eligibility changes later.

Register before April 1 to participate in the installment plan. Registering on April 1 or later requires full payment.

How it works

  1. Choose “Installment Billing” at online checkout for eligible programs.
  • You can select a saved credit/debit card or enter a new card.
  • If you prefer, you can still “Pay in Full” at registration.
  1. The card selected is charged on the scheduled dates (April 1, May 1, June 1).
  2. If a payment is declined, your account is notified, and a follow-up email/phone call will occur with next steps.
  3. The cancellation/refund policy remains the same.

  1. Why only these programs?
    These are BPRD’s full-day camps that are available weekly for the entire summer and offer a childcare option for busy households; the payment plan is being piloted on a smaller scale for efficiency.
  2. Why can’t I register after April 1 or choose a different payment date?
    Due to current system constraints for this pilot, we can only offer the four fixed payment dates for patrons who register before April 1; more flexible payment tiers and later registration cutoffs are under evaluation for next year.
  3. How do I see my upcoming payment schedule?
    You can view all scheduled installments online under your account billing details.
  4. What happens if my card is declined?
    The balance becomes due, and our staff will contact you about updating payment information or other options.
