The planning and development (P&D) department plans, designs, and constructs BPRD parks, trails, and recreation facilities for our growing community.
Staff uses population data, development data and public input to understand which areas of our community need park and recreation amenities. Community involvement is one of the most important elements of the district’s planning and development work and is a key element in informing the district’s Comprehensive, Strategic, and Capital Improvement plans.
