The natural area sits above the river and offers stunning views to the west of the mountains and forest.
The site stretches across the eastern half of a cinder cone with the other half under private ownership. It’s bounded by newly developed property on the west with connected trail around the base of the cone and the River Rim PUD on the east.
The cinder cone is designated as an Area of Special Interest Ordinance by City of Bend Ordinance. Please stay on trail to protect the surrounding natural area and native species.
