This charming urban park is tucked between Allen Road and Crowell Way uphill from McKay Park in southwest Bend.
Hixon Park features a central plaza area with bench seating, turf area, landscaped flower beds, and a whimsical four seasons clock sculpture. It’s a lovely place to enjoy a sack lunch on a warm summer day.
Hixon Park was acquired in 1998 from Brooks Resources. John Simpson, the project lead, named the urban square that features a unique Seasons Clock.
