Accessibility Information

Bend Park and Recreation District values inclusiveness and works to reduce barriers to our programs, facilities and services for people with disabilities.

For information regarding requests for accommodations, adaptive sports equipment or therapeutic recreation, please see the Therapeutic Recreation page.

Bend Park and Recreation District is committed to providing accessible parks, trails and recreation facilities, amenities and channels of communication to all members of the public.

BPRD’s Americans with Disabilities Act ADA Transition Plan establishes the District’s ongoing commitment to serving the needs of the community by providing universal accessibility to its facilities and programs. The ADA Transition Plan will be used to help guide future planning and implementation of accessibility improvements in BPRD’s parks, trails, open spaces and buildings. The plan is a dynamic, living document that will evolve over time. As projects are completed, project schedules evolve, or cost estimates change, staff will update the ADA Transition Plan to reflect those changes.
