Dancing: Classes & Events
Put on your dancing shoes and let's get dancing! Dancing is said to be one of the best activities for the heart, the mind and the soul. At Bend Senior Center, there's a variety of regular weekly classes, specialized programs and events for you get tapping, boogieing and cha-cha-cha-ing.

Weekly Drop-in Dance Classes:
Use your Senior Center pass or drop-in fee. Open to ages 50 & up. No registration needed, just come on in and dance!
Beginning Line Dance
Designed for the beginner that has had some experience with the basic steps but wants a little more challenge.
This is a moderately paced, progressive class. Basic experience required. Instructor: Peggy Barnett.

Intermediate Line Dance
Designed for those with prior experience wanting a little more challenge. More turns and steps will be added to this fun, progressive class. Instructor: Peggy Barnett.

Advanced Line Dance
Designed for the experienced dancer looking for a more advanced, progressive class. Lots of turns, more steps at a faster pace. Instructor: Peggy Barnett.

Beginning Social Ballroom
You CAN dance like a star.Beginning Social Ballroom offers you an opportunity to kick it up a notch. No partner required; students are encouraged to dance with a variety of partners. Wear non-marking, smooth-soled shoes - no open-toed shoes. Instructor: Travis Kokkeler.

Come join us on Thursdays 12:30 pm-1:00 pm for Pizza and Salad. Council on Aging is supplying the pizza and salad. Cost is a suggested donation.
The Saturday Night Dance
1st Saturday in June (Saturday Night Dances will be cancelled until September 21)
7:00-9:00pm
