BASEBALL/SOFTBALL

Start Smart Baseball - Boys & Girls Ages 3 - 5
Get involved with your child in this fun, developmentally appropriate program. We use soft equipment in teaching the basics of throwing, catching, and batting. A parent-child participatory program.

Tiny Tots Baseball - Boys & Girls, Ages 5 - 7
- Season: January - March
- Registration begins early
This baseball experience is designed to develop motor skills, promote physical fitness and create self-confidence. Kids are taught throwing, catching, base running, hitting and hand-eye coordination activities.

- Season: June - August
- Registration begins late March

Join our well-trained and enthusiastic paid coaching staff for a summer of baseball and softball fun. This program will prepare your child for organized baseball and softball in a fun, non-threatening environment.  It's all about learning baseball skills and having fun.

Girls ASA Softball - Girls Ages 6 - 14
- Season: April - June
- Registration begins in January  / Registration deadline: March 12

Join us for this fast growing girls fast pitch softball program. Teams will be created from the pool of registered participants. Practices will occur during the week and most games will be played during the week. This program emphasizes skill development, maximum participation, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun. Volunteer coaches are utilized. Details here.


BASKETBALL

Start Smart Basketball - Boys & Girls Ages 3 - 5
Get involved with your child in this fun, developmentally appropriate program. Children will learn basic basketball skills that include agility, dribbling, passing, and shooting.  A parent-child participatory program.

Tiny Tots Basketball - Boys & Girls, Ages 4 - 6
Kids are taught how to shoot, pass, dribble and improve their hand-eye coordination while using a variety of props and games. 

Bitty Ball - Boys & Girls, Kindergarten, Grades 1 & 2
- Season: November - December
- Registration begins in September
This is a developmentally appropriate program designed for the player too young to participate in our traditional leagues. Focus is on developing skills, maximum participation, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun. Teams will be created from the pool of registered participants. Practices and games will occur on Saturdays. Volunteer coaches are utilized.

Youth Basketball - Boys & Girls, Grades 3 - 5
- Season: January - March
- Registration begins in September

This program emphasizes skill development, maximum participation, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun. Teams will be created from the pool of registered participants. Practices will occur during the week and games will be played on Saturdays. Volunteer coaches are utilized.

Middle School Basketball - Boys & Girls, Grades 6 - 8
- Boys Season: November - December
- Girls Season: January - March
- Registration begins in September

This is a joint program of the Bend-LaPine School District and the Bend Metro Park and Recreation District.  The program emphasizes skill development, maximum participation, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun.  Teams will be created from the pool of registered participants.  Practices and games will occur during the week.  Volunteer coaches are utilized.

High School Basketball - Freshman/Sophomore Division & Junior/Senior Division
- Season: December - March
- Registration begins in September
Open to anyone who is not playing on a high school basketball team. Teams will be created from the pool of registered participants with players serving as team captains. Games will be played on Sundays.


CAMPS

We offer a wide variety of Youth Sports Camps designed for children of all ability levels. Camps range from basic introductory level instruction all the way to advanced level instruction. If your child is interested in sports, we offer baseball, basketball, flag football, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tackle football, track, wrestling and volleyball camp opportunities.

Youth Flag Football - Boys & Girls, Grades 1 - 6
- Season: September - October
- Registration begins in late March

This program will stress the fun and excitement of flag football. Flag football promotes physical fitness and teaches youngsters valuable lessons about teamwork and fair play.  Kids will learn basic football fundamentals, game play, and good sportsmanship.  Teams will be created from the pool of registered participants.  Practices will occur during the week and games will be played on Sundays. Volunteer coaches are utilized.
 
Youth Tackle Football - Boys & Girls, Grades 4 - 6
- Season: August - October
- Registration begins late March
This program emphasizes skill development, maximum participation, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun. All equipment is provided except shoes.  Teams will be created from the pool of registered participants.  Practices will occur during the week and games will be played on Sundays. Volunteer coaches are utilized.


GOLF

Start Smart Golf - Boys & Girls, Ages 5 - 7
A parent-child participation program for youngsters who have never played or have very little golf experience. Uses positive reinforcement and fun activities while teaching the motor skills necessary to play golf.

Youth Golf Lessons - Boys & Girls, Ages 8 - 14
Introduce your child to this lifelong sport. Emphasis is on basic fundamentals including grip, posture, ball position, alignment, and swing mechanics. Golf etiquette will also be covered.  Maximum student to teacher ratio is 8:1. Bring your own clubs or we have a limited number of golf sets to loan.

LACROSSE

Youth Lacrosse - Boys & Girls, Ages 6 - 14
- Season: April - June
- Registration begins in January / Registration deadline is March 3

The exciting fast-paced sport of Lacrosse is sweeping across the nation and quickly becoming a popular activity with today's youth. This program will emphasize skill development, maximum participation, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun. Teams will be created from the pool of registered participants. Practices and games will occur during the week.  Volunteer coaches are utilized.

Soccertots - Boys & Girls, Ages 18 Months - 6 Years
This is a child physical development program that uses a variety of fun games to delight and engage kids in physical activity. Classes are professionally designed to develop motor skills, promote physical fitness, and create self confidence. We stress fun above all else.

TENNIS

Youth Tennis Lessons - Boys & Girls, Ages 6 - 14
- Season: June - August
- Registration begins  late March
Join our USPTA trained staff for a summer of tennis fun.  ur professionally trained staff will teach you the basics of the game as well as help you improve your game. We offer a variety of sessions to choose from. USA Tennis I sessions focus on basic playing skills and court positioning. USA Tennis II sessions focus on continued skill development coupled with actual match experiences.
  
Tournament Training - Boys & Girls, Ages 10 - 17
- Season: June - August
- Registration begins late March

Join our energetic USPTA staff to help improve your game. Through advanced drills, strategies, conditioning, and match play, they will get you tournament tough.

Middle School Team Tennis - Boys & Girls, Grades 6 - 8
- Season: September - October
- Registration begins in late March

VOLLEYBALL
