As much of a tradition as July 4th itself!

After the Pet Parade, come join the full day of fun at Bend Park & Recreation's Old Fashioned July 4th Festival in Drake Park from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Come play in a variety of Old-Fashioned Games from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm sponsored by Bend Kiwanis and Alpine Physical Therapy. Located by the footbridge, games include such classics as the three-legged race and sack race.

Children of all ages will enjoy the Kids & Family Fun Area sponsored by the Law Offices of Warren John West. Kids can participate in the Flush-a-Duck or Flying Fish Fling games or visit one of the many booths or activities offered by various community agencies.

Local favorites will play both original and familiar tunes to tap your toes to and look for Bend Park & Recreation activities to keep things moving and grooving in between the music.

And take a stroll through the park to visit the variety of food booths and more than 100 artisans and crafters.

Please use alternative transportation, if possible. There will be a free Bike Valet area in Drake Park near the permanent restrooms between Kansas and Louisiana streets. If you need to drive, parking is available in the downtown parking garage on Lava Street or on the west side of the river near Highland Elementary School. There is limited ADA accessible parking along Riverside Blvd.
