50-Meter Pool Closure
The 50-meter pool will be closed for 2-3 weeks for maintenance beginning September 6. It will re-open as early as September 19 and no later than September 25 depending on how quickly we can complete the work and heat the water.This will be the first maintenance closure since the pool opened 4.5 years ago.The indoor pool schedule will be modified the first 2-3 weeks of September to accommodate some of the programs that typically occur in the 50-meter pool. We are centrally located within Bend in the middle of Juniper Park. The north lobby and parking lot are located at the end of NE 6th Street, 2 blocks south of Greenwood Avenue. The lot can be accessed from NE 3rd Street by turning east on Hawthorne Avenue.
The south lobby and parking lot are located off Franklin Avenue opposite of NE 7th Street and provide direct access to the fitness center & weight room.
We encourage the use of alternative transportation including carpooling, taking the bus, biking or walking to reduce congestion. Bike racks are located outside each entrance. Hawthorne Transit Station is located just two blocks away.
